This motel needs updating and is far overdue. Luckily, Jose, the manager is it's saving grace. He is accommodating and understands the importance of taking care of issues that arise. It would be good to see some money put into the property - then it would be worth the money - for now this is just about location.

Indoor camping at hotel prices. Room was not clean. Hot water takes 2 1/2 minutes to arrive after turning on the tap. TV turned on but you couldn't change the channels.

Clean the room. Chair dirt in the corners . Bathroom walls had mold on them . Heater in bathroom was missing the cover , it was in the corner. So dirty and metal sticking out . Husband skin broke open on metal . Had to have tetanus shot. Specks of metal cleaned out of wound. Shower to small. Air-conditioning loud. Refrigerator noisy all the time. Got little sleep. No river view trash from building across the street and trees all you see. Not sure when the sheets were last washed, far from white. Crumbs in bed at least thats what we thought it was . Had to remake bed after shaking them out

Stayed here with the family, nice location but the cleanliness is driving me insane. There was pee stains on the toilets before I got there, the floor is dirty, the shower tub has hair from idk who, the countertops had crumbs. Keep in mind this was all like this before we came in. Idk maybe im just a very clean person and notice everything but to me it was not clean

We come up 3x a year to get wet on the Whirlpool Jet Boat ride. This is a perfect location, right across the street. Also, easy access to the free Niagara trolley, with a convenient stop just down the road. We love sitting outside in front of motel or near the river!

Comfortable bed, great location. Room is run down and shabby. Shower stall is very small. Don't think they've remodeled since the fifties.

Shower, toilet, heat, WiFi, TV etc all worked well as you’d hope. Door key is a code on a digital lock box that worked every time. Our room did not smell, and everything was relatively clean. Nice location and easy entry close to parking, I can’t give it 5 stars as it’s simply not a luxurious 5 star motel but for a traveling fisherman it is as good as it gets. Better experience this time than years ago under old ownership.

I will definitely return and Lisa, on site manager, was wonderful and immediately helpful once I reached her. I nearly could not access my room and during a horrendous downpour. I'll start with positives. I love a small local roadside motel and this one delivers. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Simple but functionally furnished and decor, while dated ( pine siding, small screen, thin towels) the charm of an old school place made it lovely. Downside is this motel is nearly all remote with locks on doors keyed into guest codes and all remote. I booked end of day due to rainstorm but when I arrived there was no person on-site and my room code didn't unlock my door. I called the motel # three times and each time after running through options, including how to reach manager, the system terminated my callI was unable to a) reach a real person and b) unable to leave a message. 30 minutes of frustration in the rain. Finally Lisa arrived and immediately fixed lock and apologized but clearly there is a flaw in the online remote check in system.Again. Lisa was great. The room small but clean and cozy. I definitely would return but would also make sure I was expected and had room code activated.
Location is great.Affordable for what it is.Big Beds!Spacy

We stayed here so we didn't have to drive home after the Jason Isbell concert at Artpark. This is such a cool little hotel. It's right by the waterfront and easy walking distance to Artpark and the village. The rooms themselves are very retro but the property seems very well maintained and ours was impeccably clean and very comfortable. It's cool that when you book through their website you can choose and see pictures of the actual room you will be staying in.Also, in spite of being almost across the street from the Griffon Gastropub on a very busy Saturday night, it was peaceful and quiet in the room. Even though parking at Lewiston Landing was pretty much full it seems as though everyone was respecting the signed hotel parking area so there wasn't an issue parking right in front of our room.Check in/out was great; they sent me an e-mail with the door code a couple days prior and there was no formal check-out to speak of, we just left prior to check-out time so super easy. There's no coffee maker in the room but there is a community Keurig in the office which is open 24/7 and had a wide variety of different coffee types and some tea bags available. They even had real coffee mugs there so that was an added bonus. The only two observations (not really criticisms, more like "know before you go" items) are that the shower is very small, almost an RV shower; it works but I'm not a big guy and I was having to contort myself a bit. Also they have the smoking area right outside the rooms so if someone was smoking there and you had your window open you'd have a roomful of smoke smell.Overall we were very happy and will definitely stay here again if we're up this way.

Rooms are really dusty. The air conditioning was so dirty, it was crazy. Somebody came to try and clean it, but they just turn it on and close the door. When we came back at night to sleep, the room smell like dust and you could see gray. We turn it off, but it was so bad that we woke up with sore throats and didn’t sleep very well. Location is good, but is not worth it.

Older property with small space and small bathroom. There are beautiful views of the river within a short walking distance. Lisa was a great hostess with free coffee in the office and recommendations for breakfast

We love staying at the Riverside due to its great riverside location and close proximity to dining and the downtown area. Also, if I might add, I don't know where they found the great Innkeeper Lisa, but the owners would be crazy to get rid of her. She took care of all our needs during a 10-day stay. She denies it, but I think that she's from Southern California!!!
